For over 20 years, Dr. Peters has studied longevity and wellness, developing screening programs for the early detection and prevention of heart disease and cancer. While chief resident of the Department of Radiological Science at the UCLA School of Medicine, he was one of the earliest adopters of cancer screening utilizing whole body CT imaging – now considered standard of care for the prevention of lung cancer. Before launching ARC Medical, he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiological Sciences at Columbia University School of Physicians and Surgeons.
